Woman allegedly kills husband

A woman early Friday morning stabbed her common-law husband to death at their home near the Kwakwani airstrip, police said.

The  man has been identified as 40-year old Anthony Perreira also known as Quinn.  Police said he was stabbed to his chest.

Investigators said his wife has been arrested. A neighbour has been detained for questioning.

The alleged assailant is a vendor in the bauxite-dependent community.
