Three Brazilians, who allegedly attempted to rob a business place in Lethem, have been arrested \, police said.
Deputy Police Commissioner Seelall Persaud said one .38 revolver and six matching rounds were found in possession of one of the Portuguese-speaking nationals.
Usually reliable sources said the men attempted to rob Chinese-owned Pacifico Store Wednesday afternoon.
This is the second time in recent months that that business enterprise has been the target of thieves. The first was on December 4 when several Chinese workers there were tied up and robbed of GUY$10 million.
