Decomposed bodies of Brazilians found

The decomposed bodies of two persons, believed to be Brazilians, have be found at Sandhills, Cuyuni.

Police have been dispatched to the location where the bodies of the man and woman have been tied up, Guyana Police Force spokesman, Ivelaw Whittaker said in a statement.

No other information is available at this time, police said.

There is a large number of Brazilians mining for gold and diamonds in Guyana’s interior where homicides and gun-robberies are common place.
