A raging fire at Ogle, East Coast Demerara was late Friday morning consuming M.Beepat and Sons bond.
Fire fighters have arrived from various points of the city and the coast to battle the blaze.
The cause is not immediately known. Fire Chief Marlon Gentle said the fire was contained to the bond. But persons at the scene said a house next door was also destroyed.
Thick black smoke could be seen miles away.
