Founder-member of the Peoples National Congress Reform (PNCR), Margaret Ackman-John has died.The party said she died on August 29 in New York.
Ackman-John served as a Member of Parliament from 1969 to 1980; Parliamentary Secretary in the Prime Minister’s office from 1973 to 1980; and Government’s Chief Whip from 1969 to 1973.
The PNC expressed sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to her children, Keith Scott, MP and Marva Ackman, her grandchildren, great-grand children and other relatives.
Her funeral will take place in the USA on a date to be announced.
