Celina’s Resort robbed, several beaten

A security guard and four Chinese nationals were early Tuesday morning badly beaten when armed bandits attacked and robbed Celina’s Resort located just over the Kitty Seawall.

Reports are that around 4 AM businessman 45 year old Su Zha Hui was relieved of GUY$400,000 cash and a lap top valued GUY$100,000.

Three others were also beaten. They are Dai Wai Tong,30, who was relieved of one mobile phone, Lu Jing Liang,25, Lu Zong Oiang 27, and security guard Baldeo Singh from East Coast Demerara.

A source close to the investigation  told Demerara Waves that the five men jumped the fence, held the guard at gun point and forced him to take them to the boss’ quarter’s.

Investigations into the early morning robbery continue.
