Transparency (Guyana) elects new president

Transparency Institute of Guyana Inc. (TIGI), the local chapter of Transparency International, on Friday elected a new executive.

Elected unanimously as President was Former Auditor General of Guyana, Anand Goolsarran.  He succeeded Attorney-at-Law, Gino Persaud at elections held at TIGI’s office, Waterloo Street, Georgetown.

The two Vice Presidents are Fred Collins and Melissa Ifill.

Other executive members are Attorney-at-Law Arif Bulkan, Attorney-at-Law Gino Persaud, Esther Mc Intosh, Calvin Bernard of the University of Guyana, Chartered Accountant Nigel Hinds, and Dhanmattie Sohai.
