President of Georgetown Domino Assoc. Orin Joseph shot dead

President of the Georgetown Domino Association, Orin Joseph was shot dead by a gunman outside his home in South Ruimveldt, a relative confirmed.

A Citizen Reporter, who was on the scene, told Demerara Waves Online News, that Joseph was shot a few doors away from his home on Gaulding Street.

It was not immediately clear whether he was in his vehicle, HB 5942.

The shooting happened shortly after 11:30 PM at a time when there was a power outage in the area.

Police said that a domino competition had not so long ago finished at his residence and he was parking  his vehicles when he was shot. Investigators noted that Joseph often wore a lot of jewellery.

He was the Supervisor at the Transport Sports Club.
