A policeman is among three persons arrested in connection with the discovery of an AK-47 assault rifle in a vehicle, police said.
A Guyana Police Force spokesman said that on Friday June 05, 2015, police ranks intercepted a motor vehicle on the Mahaica Public Road, East Coast Demerara in which an AK 47 Rifle with 32 rounds was found.
Two men, including a Police Constable, and two women who were in the vehicle have been arrested and are assisting with the investigations.
