Edward B. Beharry staff robbed of cash, gun

Another gun is now in the hands of criminals during a robbery committed on a delivery truck on the East Coast Demerara early Monday afternoon.

Police said that about 1230h. today Monday May 18, 2015, an armed security guard and two salesmen attached to Edward B. Beharry Company Ltd. were in Non Pariel, ECD, conducting business at a shop when they were held up by two men armed with handguns.

The perpetrators took away the security guard’s .32 pistol with 10 rounds, along with an undisclosed sum of cash, and escaped on a motor cycle.
