WIN names its 16 MPs

Last Updated on Sunday, 14 September 2025, 15:38 by Writer

The We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) has selected its 16 members of parliament (MPs) after that almost three-month old party won 109,075 votes at the September 1 general and regional elections.

Party leader, Azruddin Mohamed has already said he would be entering the National Assembly as Opposition Leader.

The historically main opposition People’s National Congress Reform or its umbrella coalition A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) has been relegated to a minority party for the first time in its 70-year long history.

WIN’s MPs consist of a mixture of experienced politicians, who had defected from the PNCR-led APNU, shortly before the elections. They are Tabita Sarabo-Halley, Natasha Singh-Lewis and Dawn Hastings-Williams.
