Police said Cosmetologist Ashminee Harrryram of Lusignan, East Coast Demerara was shot dead about 11:15 Thursday morning.
Harrryram, of Lusignan, was at the time walking along the Lusignan Railway Embankment.
She was pronounced dead on arrival.
