Port Kaituma businessman who burnt family to death succumbs

Lenus La Cruz shortly after the fire

The Port Kaituma businessman who burnt  wife and four children in their house earlier this month, died Friday morning while undergoing treatment for severe burns.

Police said that at about 0320h. today Friday March 28, 2014, Linus La Cruz, 50 years, of Port Kaituma, NWD, succumbed at the GPHC where he had been admitted suffering from burns to his body.

Linus La Cruz was the suspect in the deaths of his wife Lurlene La Cruz and four of their children who perished in a fire at their home on March 14, 2014.
