Man charged with assaulting granny

Eustace Griffith is accused of using threatening language to his grandmother, Joan Hazel Hendy, on March 23 at Cane Ville, East Bank Demerara. The circumstances about the alleged incident were not read in court.

City Magistrate, Fabayo Azore granted the man his pre-trial liberty after he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The case has been transferred to Providence Court where Griffith is scheduled to appear on April 10.
