The carnage on Guyana’s roads continued early Sunday morning with the killing of one person and injury to two others.
The accident occurred on the Profit/ Foulis Public Road, West Coast Berbice about 5:30 Sunday morning.
Trevon “Antsman” Jamal Wilson,22, of Catherine, Mahaicony has been identified as the dead man. He was at the time driving motor car PRR 3473 accompaniedAlmond Smith and Earl Miller, 25 years, both of Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara.
He and several others were returning from a Black Party at Rosignol when the accident occurred. Police said Wilson “lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.”
Police said they all received injuries and were taken to the Mahaicony Hospital where Wilson was pronounced dead on arriva. Smith was admitted for medical treatment while Earl Miller was treated and sent away.
