Seven arrested; guns, ammo seized

Seven men were Monday afternoon arrested in connection with the discovery of a telescopic rifle and a handgun on the Linden-Soesdyke Highway.

The men were in the F-150 pick-up that police stopped at Yarrowkabra about 12:30 PM. The weapons found were one  .44 Harrington and Richardson telescopic rifle with 38 rounds and one .32 Taurus pistol with seven rounds.
