The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) on Friday announced that several villages on the West Bank Demerara will suffer a five-day disruption in potable water supply.
The utility company said the service disruption from August 26 to August 30 is to facilitate urgent maintenance at the Lāoratoire Well Station, West Bank Demerara. The villages to be affected are:
Recht Door Zee, Onderneeming, West Minster, Parfaite Harmonie, Schoonord, Canal #1, Bagotville, Nismes,
and La Grange.
“Affected customers are urged to make preparations including storing water in light of this advisory,”the GWI said in a statement.
