GTT announces line up for Independence Night Concert

The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) on Tuesday announced the lineup of artistes for the Mega concert at a Press Conference at the Pegasus hotel.

Chief Commercial Officer, Gert Post said “GTT is proud to join in Guyana’s historic Jubilee year of celebrations.

“We see a new Guyana made possible by our continued investments in technology and our people. To celebrate this Jubilee we are hosting this Independence Night concert to give back to our customers.”

Sean Kingston will headline GTT’s Independence Night Concert staged for the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

The others artistes include BunjiGarlin, Fay Ann & AsylumVikings Band,Vershon, Ravi B, along with Guyanese artistes Natural Black, Jumo and Jackie Jaxx.

Tickets will be available next week at all of GTT stores.

Existing customers, for $2000, will receive a concert ticket and a complimentary 1 month data plan (1GB) or Top Up of $2,000 valid for 7 days.

At GTT we Do More so New customers, for $2000, will receive a concert ticket and a complimentary SIM card with 1 month data plan (1GB) or Top Up of $1,500 valid for 7 days.

Additionally, if customers buy a Smart phone valued less than $10,000 they get 1 ticket or a Smart phone valued more than $10,000, they get 2 tickets.

We encourage you to get your tickets early as we anticipate that they will be in high demand from the time they are available.

Post said, “Remember it’s Independence night and so we anticipate that everyone will leave the road parade and head straight to the stadium for this much anticipated concert.”

Given the lineup for the concert, GTT anticipates that the stadium will be filled to its maximum capacity of 25,000.

There will be maximum security measures in place from the Guyana Police Force as well as experienced private security.

Parking will be available in the adjacent parking lot.
