A four year old girl on Tuesday became Guyana’s latest reported road fatality when she was struck down by a car on the West Coast Berbice public road.
She has been identified as Trechel Williams of Plantation Foulis, West Coast Berbice.
Investigators were told that the driver was allegedly speeding when he collided with the pedestrian around 8:10 AM.
She was taken to the Mahaicony Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
