A fire was Monday night raging at a lubricating oil storage bond near a gas station at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Fire Chief Marlon Gentle said fire fighters were battling the huge blaze that has been confined to the bond that stores the oil for the bulk fuel station.
The location is a short distance away from the Guyana National Stadium.
Gentle said there were no reported injuries so far.
