Government minister Kwame Mc Coy told an anti-We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) protestor that she was free to turn up the volume of car’s music system.
His utterance forced police, who were around the woman’s car, and speaking with her to back off from the area at the Burnham basketball court on Middle and Carmichael Streets.
Mr McCoy said if they could be allowed to have an illegal protest, then she should be allowed to play her audio of news reports.
After Mr McCoy left for State House to attend President Irfaan Ali’s State reception for visiting King Charles III, the woman turned up the volume.
A police officer and several subordinates returned and ordered her to turn off the music system. She complied.
