United States (US) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday said a Guyanese murder convict has been arrested.
Christopher Adolph Franklin, according to ICE, was also convicted for the felonious use of a handgun.
“Franklin will remain in ICE custody pending his removal from the US,” ICE said
Franklin arrived in the United States in 1985 as a lawful permanent resident but violated the terms of his status when he committed murder in Maryland in 1999, according to authorities.
Franklin is currently in ICE custody as he awaits his removal from the country.
