Fire destroys Mae’s School in Subryanville

Mae’s School in Subryanville, Georgetown, was Tuesday morning destroyed by fire.

Fire Chief Gregory Wickham said at 8:37 z.m. that up to that time there were no reports of deaths or injuries.

Mae’s School was recently sold to the brother of a prominent Guyanese city hotelier with properties on Church Street and Brickdam.
