Brother chops brother to death at Victoria- police

A man allegedly chopped his brother to death early Sunday morning at their residence in Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara, and the suspect has since been arrested, police said.

“There was an argument between the two brothers and it is alleged the suspect dealt the deceased chops to his head, which may have resulted in his death,” police said in a statement.

Dead is 34-year-old Akeem Prince.

His brother, 28-year-old Kareem Prince, has since been arrested in connection with the incident that occurred between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
