Lethem bus driver held in major ganja, cocaine haul

A 55-year old driver of a minibus of Tabatinga, Lethem, was early Sunday morning arrested in connection with the discovery of 24.9 kilogrammes of marijuana and 200 grammes of cocaine in the vehicle, police said.

The Guyana Police Force said the bus was transporting passengers to Lethem.

Police said they received information and stopped and searched the bus at Mabura Police Station.
