Five suspected bandits were early Saturday morning arrested with a gun and several other items which indicate they may be bandits.The Guyana Police Force said a mobile patrol in the village of Glasgow, East Bank Berbice intercepted a motor car about 01:30hrs Saturday morning, conducted a search in the car and its five occupants.
Police said an unlicensed pistol with 13 live rounds , a rope, a crowbar, a wig and other items were found in the vehicle.
The men ages 33, 29, 27, 26 and 22 of Glasgow Housing Scheme, East Bank Berbice, Angoys Avenue, Berbice, Pilot Street, New Amsterdam, Fort Ordnance, Berbice and Dazzel Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara have been arrested and the vehicle and items lodged.Discover more from Demerara Waves Online News- Guyana
