A farmer at Moblissa, Linden Highway was Sunday morning shot to his penis snd left arm by another farmer who has since been arrested.
The Guyana Police Force did not say what led to the shooting.
Injured is 56 year old Cecil Todd, a cash crop farmer.
Investigators said he was shot at about 9 AM.
Todd told police that he left home about 08:30h today for Moblissa Hilltop to collect wood shavings for his chickens and on his way home he heard an explosion and suddenly felt a burning sensation to his left thigh, left arm and penis.
Todd said he then fell to the ground and he made an alarm, resulting in his daughter Deslyn Cornelius going to his rescue and rushing him to the Linden Hospital where he was treated and admitted a patient in a stable condition.

Investigators have so far arrested a 36yrs old male farmer of Moblissa in connection with the incident.
The weapon has not yet been found.
