Police say they are investigating another fatal accident which occurred on Goed Fortuin Public Road, West Bank Demerara about 04:05 hrs today Saturday June 4, 2016.
Dead is Shawn Patrich 21 years, of David Rose Street, Bagotville, WBD.
Investigators learned that the deceased who was riding a motor cycle CH 8338 proceeding south at a fast rate, overtook a motor car on a turn, hit the left side front of motor lorry GJJ 5817 which was facing south and then slammed onto a light pole.
He was rush to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with the investigation.
