A soldier was listed in a critical condition Tuesday morning after the vehicle he was driving slammed into a parked truck on the Soesdyke Public Road, East Bank Demerara.
He was driving a Guyana Defence Force (GDF) vehicle bearing number plate DFB 1454.
The soldier was rushed to the Regional Hospital at Diamond, East Bank Demerara.
An initial account of the mishap is that he was heading north along the Soesdyke Public Road when he struck the parked truck.
