The body of a badly injured farmer was Tuesday night discovered in a hammock at his Crabwood Creek, Corentyne residence.
The Guyana Police Force said that at about 9:30 Tuesday night (March 22, 2016), the body of 78-year old Kublall Gomes was found in a hammock under his home at Grant 1651 Backlands, Crabwood Creek.
Investigators said his body had wounds to its head and a plastic cuff around the throat.
His licensed shotgun is missing.
The body is at the Skeldon Hospital Mortuary awaiting an autopsy as the investigations continue.
