“We are not intimidated” – Team Legacy confident of LGE win

Team Legacy contesting Local Government Elections in six constituencies says it is not imtimidated by the presence of larger players but insists that LGE should not include the major political parties.

At an official campaign launch on Thursday members of the team were confident that they would fare well in their respective areas.

Michael Leonard a Team Member contesting in constituency #9 Lodge /Meadowbrook believes that the group has what it takes to be effect a change in the community.

"We are not intimidated…local government elections is for community leaders," he said.

Leonard, who also serves as the Chairman for Blue Caps also stated  that locals are the "best ones to deal" with the issues that manifest in various communities.

It was noted that there are five pillars that they would see address as a matter of priority if elected.

Those pillars include, community investments, youth transformation, security, environment and health and improvement in the delivery of services.

"The bedrock of the five pillars is ongoing consultation and conversation with the community," Leonard posited.

Saiku Andrews contesting constituency #14 indicated that each community deserves nothing but the best, and that is what Team Legacy is offering.
