A Linden man is currently under police guard at the Linden Hospital Complex after he killed his wife, stabbed his daughter and later attempted to take his own life.
A police release has confirmed that 34-year-old Leolyn Sullivan is dead while her 18-year-old daughter Shameka Campbell is currently being treated for stab wounds at the Hospital.
Police say that at approximately 2:00AM on Monday, Sullivan and her reputed husband had a domestic argument during which she was stabbed multiple times about her body.
During the incident her two daughters came to her defence and one of them was stabbed to her arm and neck.
It was stated that the suspect then self-inflicted wounds to his neck and chest in an apparent attempt to take his own life.
The trio were taken to the Linden Hospital where Sullivan was pronounced DOA and her daughter was admitted.
Investigations are ongoing.
