Man douses waste-oil on departing woman at Ogle Airport

A woman, who was about to leave Guyana for Barbados, was doused with a bucket of waste-oil at the Ogle International Airport.

The woman has been identified as Abigail Austin.

A ma, said to be closely connected to the woman, has been taken into custody.

The incident occurred shortly before 3 PM while the woman was about to check in to board a LIAT flight to the Caribbean island.

They were taken to a nearby police station to assist investigators.
