Leonora man found dead at mining camp

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man at a mining camp at Cuyuni.

The name of the victim has been identified as 24-year old devindra Alfred of Leonora, Werst Coast Demerara.

A team of investigators has been dispatched to Sandhills, Cuyuni where the body was found at about 2 AM Monday, a police spokesman said.
