The Lear Jet, bearing registration number N425SA, winged out with the two gentlemen aboard about 10:30 PM.

One usually reliable source told Demerara Waves Online News (www.demwaves.com) that Jagdeo and his doctors were not taking any chances because the former Guyanese lawyer might have contracted a bad bout of dengue hemorrhagic fever during a recent visit to India. But the source said from all accounts the former Guyanese leader was already on the road to recovery.

Calls to Jagdeo’s mobile number rang out and went to voicemail for a telecoms provider in a foreign country. He usually answers his phone even while roaming.

Ramroop and Jagdeo have been very close during and after the latter’s term in office.
