Anna Regina Multilateral School’s (ARMS) Zimeena Rasheed is Guyana’s top performer at this year’s Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examination.She scored 18 Grade Ones and two Grade Twos.
She was followed by Yogeeta Persaud, also of (ARMS) with 18 Grade Ones.

Full analysis of individual candidates’ performances is not yet available. We have requested however, a list of candidates who have secured Grade Ones passes in eight or more subjects from the Caribbean Examinations Council.
In response to our request for the list of persons who have secured Grade One passes in eight or more subjects, we received a list of two hundred and thirty-one (231) candidates, compared to one hundred and seventy five (175) in 2012.
Of these, sixty-nine (69) students secured 11 Grade Ones or more as opposed to forty (40) in 2012. These students are listed below:
