Three persons were Wednesday arrested during three drug raids in two south Georgetown neighbourhoods, police said.
Guyana Police Force spokesman, Ivelaw Whittaker said anti-narcotics police raided three houses and unearthed a quantity of cocaine and marijuana.
Whittaker said the raids were conducted on two houses in North East La Penitence and one at Albouystown, Georgetown, during which a total of 250 grams of cocaine and 6 kilograms 870 grams of marijuana were found.
A man and two women were arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations, police said.
