A taxi driver was shot dead Tuesday night.
He was identified as 24-year old Roland Judy of Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo.
His body was found in the car with two gunshot wounds at Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo, Divisional Commander Assistant Commissioner Leslie James told Demerara Waves Online News
James said detectives were still at the scene, trying to ascertain the circumstances that led to the killing.
Other unofficial sources said the taxi driver was earlier hired by four persons to take him to the back of Tuschen and they shot him.
