Pres. Granger gets ready for Barbados’ 50th anniversary

President David Granger is getting ready to fly to Barbados to join in that island’s 50th Independence anniversary.

Minister of State Joseph Harmon said the Guyanese leader would travel to Barbados for the celebration on November 30, 2016.

He will be the guest of Barbados’ Prime Minister, Freundel Stuart.

Stuart was in Guyana in May of this year for this country’s 50th Independence anniversary.

While here, Stuart was bestowed with Guyana’s highest national award, the Order of Roraima.
