The body of the Corentyne money changer who went missing several days ago was found Thursday just of the Number 63 beach, police said.

An autopsy conducted on the partly decomposed body of 56-year old Mohammed “Sugarcake” Baksh showed that he died of a fractured skull.

Baksh left his home at Lot 5 Grant 1780 Crabwood Creek, Corentyne shortly after 8 AM Monday to transact business with someone at Number 65 Village.

He never returned home and his family became worried.

Police are looking for a prime suspect who has gone into hiding. The suspect is said to be the person to whom Baksh had gone to conduct business.
