Synopsis: A Tropical Wave is in the Western Atlantic Ocean. At 08:00 hrs local time it was located at 40 oW (approximately 1900 km east of the Corentyne River). This system is expected to interact with the Inter-Tropical Zone (ITCZ) while it is over Guyana. With its current trajectory, it is likely to begin affecting local conditions by Thursday 23 July, 2015 at about 20:00 hrs local time.

Associated weather: It is expected that this system will cause, moderate to heavy showers, frequent rain and thundershowers. These conditions are likely to last between 24 hrs and 36 hrs commencing on Thursday 23 July, 2015 at about 20:00 hrs local time. Possible effects of Weather: With the forecasted conditions, Coastal, low lying, and flood prone areas are likely to experience flooding and/or flash flooding. Gusty winds are likely to occur before and during thundershowers.
