Police Tuesday night disclosed the identities of two men-one shot dead and the other injured- who were captured during an operation at Craig, East Bank Demerara that netted several suspects in two recent murders and then brutal assault of a judge and her husband.

The suspect who was fatally shot during the police operation has been identified as Rolston Morrison called ‘Mappy’ or ‘Sadam’, 29 years, whose known addresses were Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara; Agricola, Georgetown; and Providence, East Bank Demerara.

Seven others, who were in the house, were arrested during the police raid that took place at about 2 AM at a two-flat house at  Craig village.

Crime sleuths  believe that the suspects are linked to the gunning down of the owner of Multiplex Mall, Ganesh “Boyo” Lall at his home at La Jalousie, West Coast Demerara, and the severe beating of Justice Nicole Pierre and her husband at Felicity, East Coast Demerara. The suspects have been also fingered in the killing of Travis Rudder at Nandy Park, East Bank Demerara

Police listed the items found at the house as one 9mm. Glock pistol with two magazines and 25 matching rounds and the two wrist watches. A number of 9mm. spent shells were recovered at the scene.
