Miami, Oct 28 (EFE).- U.S. Coast Guard and Miami search and rescue teams continued Tuesday looking for two men at sea after 11 Cuban migrants where picked up a day earlier from a rickety boat in Biscayne Bay.

The air and sea mission includes the Miami Fire Department and the Miami-Dade County Police Police Department, along with Coast Guard units.

“We are still searching for two more migrants who were lost,” a Coast Guard spokesman told Efe.

The Coast Guard received a call Monday afternoon about a boat that was sinking near Turkey Point, in Homestead, near Biscayne National Park south of Miami.

Some of the rescued migrants were taken to Mercy Hospital in Miami for medical care and others were transferred to a U.S. Coast Guard cutter for evaluation
