CONVICTED THIEF: Ronald Williams

A Customs Broker was Thursday jailed for 18 months after he was convicted for stealing a video camera from the Guyana Learning Channel.

Ronald Williams,35, pleaded guilty to stealing one Sony High Definition Video Camera valued GUY$800,000 from the television station.

He committed the offence on May 21 at 3 Battery Road, Kingston, Georgetown.

The court was told that he Williams was previously convicted and jailed for a simple larceny charge.
