Three employees of Survival Supermarket were Tuesday arraigned on charges of stealing more than GUY$200,000 from their employer.

City Magistrate, Faith Mc Gusty refused them bail and they were remanded to custody until December 19 when they are scheduled to reappear in the Georgetown Magistrates Court.

Lousel Duke,18, Joseph Griffith,28, and 26-year old Marlon Dolphin pleaded not guilty to stealing GUY$223,970 on November 25 at Third and Light Streets, Georgetown.

Police alleged that Griffith, a porter, and Dolphin, a driver, had reported that they were robbed.

When Duke was arrested, he allegedly told investigators that he was told to take the money and give Dolphin and Griffith half and he would take the remaining 50 percent but he spent all of the money.
