Duo accused of gun-point robbery of footwear, keys

Two men were Tuesday arraigned for allegedly robbing a man of footwear and several other items at gunpoint.

22-year old Ronell France and 19-year old Neko Devonish pleaded not guilty to the charge of robbery under arms when they appeared before City Magistrate, Judy Latchman.

They are accused of robbing Kestwick Miller of one pair sneakers, two cellular phones, one motorcycle key and cash with a total value of GUY$196,000.

The robbery allegedly occurred on November 16 on Lombard Street.

They were refused bail and remanded to prison until November 28 when they will make their next court appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.

France and Devonish are represented by Attorney Paul Fung-a-Fat. The prosecutor is Police Sergeant Vishnu Hunt.
