Veteran broadcaster and actor, Ron Robinson was recovering from a serious accident involving a high-powered motorcycle.

A neck brace, respirator and monitoring equipment have been removed from him and up and he was resting comfortably up to late Wednesday night in the High Dependency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

His broken left leg was very swollen. The swelling on several parts of his still bruised head has almost disappeared.

Robinson, well-known for his leading roles in the satirical Link Show and Stretched Out Magazine, was also very alert and talking extensively with visitors.

He still cannot recall the Monday evening accident when he pulled brakes on one his friends Ducati 1100 CC motorcycle and flew into the windscreen of a parked car.

Robinson initially appeared to be in a critical condition. He was rushed to the GPHC where a CT-Scan showed that he sustained no fractures to his skull. A couple of hours later a then battered Robinson regained consciousness and was allowed to speak very briefly with visitors.

After the motorcycle’s owner left the key in the ignition to go to the urinal, Robinson is said to have boarded the bike to take a ride in keeping with his desire all afternoon while he and friends were liming.

The accident occurred on Light Street, Alberttown between Second and Third Streets- a stone’s throw away from where he and friends were at a shop.
