A husband and wife are among three people from Pomeroon who were Tuesday arraigned for the brutal murder of a fellow villager at a wedding-house earlier this month.
Charged with the murder of Victor Williams,54, of Lower Friendship, Pomeroon are Trevor 'Rubber' Abrams,41, and husband and wife- Frank 'Frankie' Henry,39, and 41-year old Josephine Henry.
Chief Magistrate, Melissa Robertson remanded the trio to prison until September 23 when they are scheduled to appear at the Charity Magistrates' court.
The incident occurred at Friendship on July 22. Police had reported that Williams was involved in an argument with two men and one woman at a wedding house. Williams was allegedly beaten and stabbed, and later pronounced dead on arrival at the Charity Hospital.
But in court, Frank Henry, who is the father of eight children, said that he was held by police because he was associated with Abrams who had stayed three months at his home.
Trevor Abrams explained that he was at the wedding house, smoking a cigarette when Williams approached him, saying that he had been looking for him a long time.
Abrams further alleged that Williams butt him on his forehead and escaped but the now dead man caught him and struck him with a bottle.
After the bottle fell and broke, according to Abrams, he picked it up and stabbed him.

4: There are many decent law-abiding residents on the Pomeroon.
