Two men and a woman on Friday appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan for allegedly stealing the doors off of another woman’s house.

The allegation against Swine Evans, Ron Nurse, and Kimise Cameron is that on October 3, 2016, at Providence East Bank Demerara, they stole six pine doors – valued at GYD$77,000, property of Deomattie Seetaram.

During the presentation of the facts, the court learned that Nurse allegedly broke and entered Seetaram’s premises and the trio allegedly took the doors off of the hinges of the house so that they could sell them.

The doors have since been recovered.

Each of the three accused pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to them, and since the prosecution did not object to bail, and they were each granted it at GYD$5,000.

Their matter has been transferred to the Providence Magistrates’ Court for October 25, 2016.
