West Demerara supermarket robbed of guns, cash

Armed bandits assaulted and robbed the owners of a supermarket at La Jalousie, West Coast Demerara, police confirmed Sunday.

Divisional Commander for West Demerara, Senior Superintendent, Stephen Mansell confirmed that the incident occurred on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at C and N Supermarket. He said one suspect has been arrested.

The names of the victims were not immediately available.

Mansell said the four bandits carted off an undisclosed sum of cash and the owner’s shot gun and pistol.

        I would go with the majority on these comments. The word is that these thieves came to life with Jaggie…previously, the country was like Shangrila . While these folks overwhelmingly attack and denigrate hard working progressive Guyanese , you can only say so much…..I have more than six decades ahead of them …. all along the period of ethnic cleansing in Guyana..I try to see the humor in the folks with social contusion, who are privileged to express their hateful partisan comments.
